Back in May I photographed my first wedding of this year. It was a very special one. Not only was it set in one of my favourite places Cornwall, but it was one of my best friend's. When Becci and Rowan asked me to photograph their wedding and be a Bridesmaid I was thrilled but slightly concerned how I was going to do both jobs, but I couldn't have had anyone else do it!  

It was lovely to be so involved in their day and I saw first hand how much went into it from Becci and Rowan's mass collection of vintage tea cups, home made bunting which Rowan now has a real skill in! The beautiful hand made floral head pieces made by Becci, feather buttonholes made by Becci's mum Fay, family and friends contributions to collections of vintage glasses, the stunning flowers by family friend Odette and yummy cream teas made by Margaret Templar at The Riverside cafe. On the day before the wedding when I arrived at Becci's mum's in Boscastle, Becci was busy making cupcakes and putting the finishing touches to their homemade wedding cake. This wedding involved team work, everyone had a helping hand transforming the marque. So much thought went into the decor, there were so many personal touches making it really quite unique.

Cornish Tipi Weddings was the perfect venue and suited Becci and Row to a T! The day and night before the heavens opened so we were all slightly concerned it would be a soggy day but after a little shower in the morning the rain held off. The venue was photo heaven, the wooden ceremony outhouse, the enchanting woodland dotted with tipi's and the stunning green lake where Becci and Rowan were able to row out onto, so many beautiful photo spots, I was spoilt for choice!

The day had a magical feel, the food was amazing and we danced the night away. Thanks again to my wonderful assistant Amybeth who did an extra bit of shooting to get me in some shots...hate having my photo taken, but I'm in there. Super chuffed for Becci and Row, love you guys! Wishing you all the happiness in the world.xxx
